The Saint Anthony of Padua Chapel, located to the east of the sanctuary, restoration included cleaning the Mankato limestone to the original natural color. In addition, the plaster of the coffered ceiling was repaired and restored to its original color palette. Lighting was updated to incorporate LED technology and added to enhance the restored gold and silver leaf on the ceiling corniche. The restoration project was completed in December of 2016.

The Basilica Landmark is grateful to the Mrs. Treva and Dr. Michael Paparella for their generous gift to restore this historic chapel.
