Beacon of Renewal

The Basilica has been the spiritual center of the Minneapolis community for over a century, serving generations as a sanctuary for renewal from the daily stresses and pressures that tend to become commonplace occurrences in our lives, especially during times of crisis like 9/11 and the I-35W bridge collapse. The Basilica is also a welcoming presence in our community during those ordinary times when the joys of the Christmas and holiday seasons are still in the distant future and the arrival of the spring equinox and Easter seem like a lifetime away, as the current season of falling leaves, barren trees and return to near-freezing temperatures can attest. The Basilica exists as our beacon of spiritual renewal regardless of the season…and that makes all the difference.

Yes, the Basilica has certainly had a lasting impact as a transformational spiritual presence in my life and that is why I have chosen to make a planned gift to the endowment fund to ensure that it continues to do so for generations to come. What greater legacy could I leave behind?
