This past year has been a pivotal one for The Basilica Landmark Board of Directors. As dedicated community leaders entrusted with the preservation and restoration of The Basilica of Saint Mary, we work to advance the mission and vision of The Basilica Landmark.

Through the extraordinary efforts of our Capital Campaign Committee, The Basilica Landmark has reached a key fundraising milestone and launched the official public phase of the comprehensive $45 million Restoring Beauty, Inspiring Hope capital campaign to restore America’s First Basilica. This initiative represents the largest fundraising effort ever undertaken by The Basilica of Saint Mary.

The campaign supports a multi-phase restoration project led by nationally recognized experts and focused on preserving the Basilica for future generations. The full scope of work includes exterior and interior restoration, along with critical accessibility and safety improvements—ensuring the Basilica remains a landmark of faith, beauty, and welcome in Minneapolis for the next century.
