School Exterior Masonry Project

In July of 2019, The Basilica School exterior façade masonry repairs began. The architects, engineers, and preservation experts took special care to match the original brick color and style. The team of experts fully assessed the entrance area and front stairs for structural issues and preserved and restored the School to make the building not only beautiful, but functional and accessible as well. The renovation of the façade and front stairs continued through October 2019. The School building was completed 1913, as the Pro-Cathedral Parochial School.

Today the Basilica School building is used for nursery care, religious education classes, children’s choir, meetings and programs, community partners such as AA, and during weekdays by our tenant Child Garden Montessori School.
