2024 Fund-A-Need 

Proceeds from this year’s Fund-A-Need help support the goal of stopping the water damage so evident throughout The Basilica’s interior and other critical restoration and revitalization projects.

During the bell tower repair and restoration work last summer (2023), our contractor discovered that roof drains installed in 1990-1993 were failing and water was entering the church as a result. To address these water issues, one roof drain was crafted, installed and flood tested, and water intrusion was immediately stopped. A second roof drain was installed in the other bell tower and water was also stopped. We are raising money to replace 26 drains on The Basilica’s roof. Replacing the roof drains will allow us to move forward with additional restoration and revitalization projects.
